It has been quite sometime since we have taken this train. It was an amazing ride through the sprawling Redwoods and into the camp. The conductors, and employees, do a great job at immersing you into the story of the rails and how these trains would haul the big redwoods that were harvested for lumber back to the town for lumber. Once you reach Roaring Camp there is so much to see and do and I have heard they have added even more attractions since I was there last. Through the tickets can be a little pricey, they are well worth the cost.
